Warehouse Worker - Legoland California Hotels

The Hotel Receiver's main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures all storage for Food and Beverage in Hotel Restaurant Locations are clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $17.75 to $18.02. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for organizing and storing all incoming products in assigned locations, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable products. May require training and operation of a manual pallet jack. Picks inventory to assemble orders of product, supplies and equipment for requisitions. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards. Load, unload and transport products and materials to different areas of locations and/or other client locations. May require use of carts, powered industrial vehicles (PIV), or motor vehicles. Responsible for conducting routine physical inventory counts based on established location schedules. Accurately complete administrative duties including records such as inventory count documents, temperature and spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and any other relevant business records. This may be on paper or in a technology-based system (hand-held device or PC). Clean work areas as assigned. Takes appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets. Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities and attend meetings, as required. Assist with catering and special events as needed. Adhere to the uniform policy. Adheres to Aramark and client companies, San Diego County and OSHA safety policies and procedures for proper food safety, sanitation, storage and disposal.

Qualifications: Must be over 18 years of age. Able to pass a Food Handler certification exam. Sufficient education or training to read, write, count and follow verbal and written instructions. Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure. Available to work holidays and weekends as well as shorter or longer hours due to business volume. Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and stooping. Expect constant walking and standing during shifts. Occasional crawling and climbing. Frequently lift and carry items weighing 20 to 40 pounds, including lifting trays over the shoulder. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds. The role will require wearing uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ability to work inside kitchen area, interacting with heated equipment, various foods, loud noise, chemicals and other at risk conditions. Exposure to extreme temperature changes.
