Excelsior University seeks a detail‑oriented Salesforce Administrator to optimize CRM performance, support users, faculty management, and drive data‑informed engagement across the student lifecycle from prospect to enrolled student. The Salesforce Administrator is a key member of the technology and operations team, partnering with staff to design, implement, and enhance relationship management initiatives across the student lifecycle, including recruitment, enrollment, persistence, and faculty management. The role supports configuration and day‑to‑day administration of Salesforce, ensuring best practices and scalable solutions that meet evolving needs. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality end‑user support for the Salesforce platform. Manage workflow for the CRM system. Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, custom reports, and dashboards. Develop and maintain validation rules and custom workflow. Determine and document business user requirements. Develop and implement enhancements to the CRM system as required. Work with internal and external staff to use the CRM efficiently and effectively. Manage access rights for Salesforce. Perform data integrity and manipulation tasks. Troubleshoot issues reported by all CRM users as needed. Write technical documentation. Follow best practices in the use of the Salesforce. Attend professional conferences and training courses as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Communications, or related disciplines. Experience with Salesforce administration; experience with Apex is a plus. Certified Salesforce Platform Administrator preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of experience with Salesforce. Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and communication skills. Work Schedule Hybrid schedule: two days on site in Albany office, remaining days remote. Core hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, including a 1‑hour lunch, for a 37.5‑hour week. Compensation Salary range: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00.
