Job Description

This role focuses on enhancing the quality of AI-powered web and mobile applications, particularly in video generation tools. As a Junior Software Engineer specializing in AI Quality & Testing, you will leverage your software engineering skills and quality-first mindset to test, evaluate, and improve next-generation AI products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability and contribute to both development and quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate AI-driven web and mobile applications for performance, usability, and robustness.
• Design and execute effective test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of features and edge cases.
• Contribute code in TypeScript to support feature enhancements, prototypes, and testing tools.
• Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with clear root cause insights.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Analyze user feedback and product behavior to identify areas for improvement.
• Support and improve testing processes, including automation and best practices.
• Work across teams to ensure smooth product delivery and adherence to quality standards.

• 1-3 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in TypeScript / JavaScript.
• Experience in testing web/mobile applications with a keen eye for detail and edge cases.
• Portfolio of self-built projects (mandatory) demonstrating hands-on development skills.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Ability to work with and navigate complex codebases.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting and reporting issues.
• Interest in AI tools and platforms, especially video generation technologies.

• Experience with testing frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Jest.
• Exposure to AI-based or video generation products.
• Background in QA, automation testing, or product quality roles.

Part-time (Contract), Remote

$30 - $42 per hour

Open to candidates with the required skills and experience, regardless of location.
