Human Resources Intern Role

Main purpose of the Human Resources Intern role:

This is a part time internship who is looking to grow into an HR/Recruiting professional. In general, this positions supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource department and acts as the first point of contact for the company. Areas of internships may include completing projects and assignments within Recruiting, HR Operations and HR analytics.

This person will be on-site at the Cerritos HQ.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Shadow professional development and training opportunities related to HRIS, recruiting & onboarding, employment law, employee relations, production HR, training & development and benefits.
  • Engage in HR Operations which many include: Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, and Recruiting
  • Participate in coaching and feedback from assigned mentors
  • Assist with the coordination of employee engagement events
  • Work with the HR Operations team to draft company-wide announcement and templates
  • Assist with other HR projects as assigned

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Work, Outlook, Team, etc.)
  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills along with heightened interpersonal skills
  • Must be an active problem solver, stilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
  • Must be a self-starter

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Detail oriented with excelled verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong interest in Human Resources
  • Strong organizational skills

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $17 to $18.50.
