Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dedicated CDL Driver Operator Professionals to join our dynamic transportation team. In this vital role, you will operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks, to deliver freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. Your expertise will ensure timely load and unload operations while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills and contribute to the seamless movement of goods in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and security. Drive route-specific deliveries, managing schedules effectively to meet delivery deadlines. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Assist with special equipment handling such as refrigerated trailers or tanker loads when required. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty trucks in a commercial setting. Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles and handling specialized equipment like forklifts or dump trucks. Experience with freight loading/unloading procedures and route driving logistics. Knowledge of safety protocols related to refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads and performing vehicle inspections. Strong communication skills and a commitment to punctuality and safety compliance.
