Surgical Specialists Group of Michigan is seeking a part-time bookkeeper for a consistent, low-hour weekend/monthly role. This position is ideal for someone looking for supplemental income with a predictable schedule.

This is an on-site position only - no remote work.

• Run monthly bank reports and statements
• Enter and reconcile financial data in QuickBooks
• Maintain accurate and organized bookkeeping records
• Identify and report discrepancies
• Ensure timely completion of monthly entries
• Meet with the Administrator to review monthly reports, address questions, and ensure clarity and accuracy of all financial data prior to submission

• Work is performed on-site, in the city of Saint Clair Shores.
• You may choose any 2 days (Saturday and/or Sunday) within the first 3 weekends of the month
• No work is scheduled on the 4th or 5th weekends
• Total time commitment: approximately 10–16 hours per month

• Long-term commitment required — please do not apply if seeking short-term or flexible/variable work
• Must demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliability with the understanding of the schedule commitments.
• This role requires a high level of reliability - frequent call-offs, rescheduling, or last-minute changes are not acceptable
• Timely completion is critical: reports must be prepared for internal review and submitted to our financial advisor by the 20th of each month

• Experience with QuickBooks (required)
• Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience (required)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy (required)
• Ability to work independently - training will be provided initially.
• Reliable and trustworthy
