Responsibilities

• Perform technical tree removals and pruning while following ANSI and company safety standards
• Climb using modern climbing systems and techniques
• Perform crane removals and work alongside certified crane operators
• Operate our 72 foot tracked spider lift to complete removals and pruning in areas where climbing or bucket access is not ideal
• Safely transition between climbing and spider lift operations depending on the job
• Set rigging systems and safely lower limbs and wood
• Prune trees using proper arboricultural practices
• Safely operate chainsaws, pole saws, and climbing equipment
• Inspect trees and identify hazards before work begins
• Assist with storm and emergency response operations
• Operate mini skid steers and other equipment to move logs and brush
• Help feed the chipper, rake, blow properties clean, and complete final job site cleanup when needed
• Load trucks and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient job site
• Train and mentor newer crew members
• Represent Husky Tree Services professionally with every customer

Qualifications

• Previous experience climbing and performing professional tree work
• Experience operating spider lifts or the willingness to become proficient
• Strong knowledge of proper pruning, rigging, and removal techniques
• Crane removal experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required - NO exceptions
• CDL is a plus
• ISA Certified Arborist is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights
• Positive attitude with a team first mindset
• Dependable, professional, and safety focused
