This internship is a direct reflection of that commitment. ROLE OVERVIEW This is not a passive or siloed internship. You will sit alongside the development and investment team, contribute to live projects, and be expected to bring intellectual curiosity and genuine initiative. Work will span two intersecting domains: applied AI tool development and core real estate functions including underwriting, development support, and research. RESPONSIBILITIES AI & Tool Development Design and iterate on AI prompts, workflows, and skills for real estate tasks including underwriting, memo generation, and market research Build and test internal tools using large language model APIs to automate repetitive analytical work Document AI workflows and evaluate output quality for production use Underwriting & Financial Analysis Support financial modeling for ground‑up development and acquisition opportunities across property types Assist in preparing investment committee memos and deal evaluation summaries Review and stress‑test assumptions in operating pro formas Development & Asset Management Support Assist with active development projects including coordination of due diligence materials, consultant deliverables, and scheduling Support asset management reporting and performance tracking across the portfolio Research & Market Analysis Conduct market feasibility analysis, comp studies, and sector research in support of investment decisions Track industry trends in real estate technology, capital markets, and relevant geographies QUALIFICATIONS Rising junior or senior at an accredited four‑year university; all majors considered — real estate, finance, economics, computer science, data science, and related fields are particularly relevant Genuine interest in the intersection of AI and real estate — prior exposure to LLM tools, prompt engineering, or automation a plus but not required Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience with Excel or financial modeling preferred Excellent written communication; ability to synthesize complex information into clear deliverables High degree of ownership and intellectual initiative — we reward people who identify problems before being asked WHAT YOU’LL GAIN Direct exposure to institutional‑quality real estate development, from capital structure to construction to operations Hands‑on experience applying AI in a professional setting with real stakes Mentorship from experienced principals with careers spanning development, acquisitions, and asset management A tangible portfolio of work you can speak to and build on HOW TO APPLY Send a resume and a short paragraph (no more than 200 words) describing what draws you to the intersection of AI and real estate development.
