Position Overview
The Site Inspector II is responsible for conducting physical and observational site inspections to verify the operational status of Medicare and Medicaid providers and suppliers. This role follows strict CMS protocols and requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and compliance with federal standards.
Inspectors conduct both Physical Observation and In-Depth (IDTF) inspections, documenting findings through the FSA mobile application in real time. The position requires frequent fieldwork, adherence to defined service-level agreements (SLAs), and consistent application of CMS-approved procedures.
This role is well suited for law enforcement and healthcare professionals with experience in clinical care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, utilization review, care coordination, health information management, and medical administration, who are skilled in documentation review, regulatory compliance, and on-site observation.
Key Responsibilities
Note: An official badge will be provided along with all necessary legal documentation required to perform inspections. You will also receive proper training for this role, including a two-day online training program to ensure you are fully prepared.
