Job Description

Step into an engaging opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving high school students in a supportive educational environment near Hayward, CA. This contract role spans the full 2026-2027 school year, offering meaningful impact and flexibility in your workweek. Enjoy a thoughtful blend of 80% on-site presence over four days, with one additional day each week designated as remote.


Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • Valid California SLP license; eligibility for SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Experience or strong interest in working with high school populations in an educational setting
  • Proficient in planning and delivering speech-language therapy for varied student needs
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for student-centered collaboration with educators, families, and support teams
Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions for enrolled students
  • Maintaining compliance with all documentation, IEP development, and service delivery standards
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Developing adaptive therapy plans in response to student needs and educational goals
  • Participating in IEP meetings and professional development activities
  • Ensuring services are provided on-site and remotely as scheduled (No VOCO services; direct supports only)
