Position Summary
Health Care LA, IPA, seeks a Project Manager to lead projects that deliver technology solutions, improve quality initiatives, and increase operational efficiency for Health Care LA, IPA, and its 33-member health centers, in collaboration with HCLA’s Managed Services Organization (MSO), MedPOINT Management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage cross-departmental projects, oversee technology-driven initiatives across all functional areas, and ensure alignment with Health IPA’s strategic objectives.
· Create and maintain a project tracker and calendar, use project management tools such as Agile or PDSAs to develop detailed project schedules to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
· Track the creation and implementation of deliverables, policies, training materials, workflows, and reporting dashboards, to ensure quality and adherence to standards, adjusting timelines and resources as needed to keep projects on track.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for the health centers on project-related collaborations.
· Coordinate vendor activities and ensure they meet contractual obligations.
· Identify and communicate project risks and barriers, proposing solutions.
· Provide frequent, detailed communication on project status and milestones; produce regular status reports, dashboards, and project-related deliverables; maintain detailed project documentation, meeting minutes, and action items.
· Compile and analyze data from multiple sources to prepare reports for leadership and the board of directors.
· Organize and lead project meetings with internal staff, health centers, and vendors.
· Track grant milestones and deliverables, coordinate grant reporting, and ensure all requirements are met.
· Stay current on best practices, regulatory compliance, and operational improvements.
· Undertake additional project tasks as required.
Minimum Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
· 2+ years of project-based work experience, PMP certification required.
· Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
· Experience with writing formal documents and policies.
· Experience working with EZCAP, Smartsheet, and Tableau preferred.
