Columbus, the state capital and largest city in the state, is located in central Ohio on the Scioto River. Blendon Woods in Dublin offers activities and solitude in a 650-acre park with forests, 11-acre Thoreau Lake, and a 1.2-mile trail specifically designed for walking dogs.
