Peer Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities: - Provide peer support to patients, fostering a trusting and empathetic environment to promote recovery and wellness. - Assist patients in navigating healthcare services, including mental health, substance use, and primary care. - Support patients in understanding and managing their treatment plans. - Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate care and ensure patient needs are met. - Manage billing submissions related to peer support services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing policies. - Document patient interactions and support activities in accordance with organizational standards. - Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to stay current on best practices and billing procedures.
