On-Site Property Manager (Live in)
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and experienced On-Site (Live-in) Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our multi-family apartment community. As the "face" of the property, you will reside on-site and be responsible for maintaining high occupancy, fostering a positive living experience for residents, and keeping the property clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, household repairs, conflict resolution, and vendor management. MUST POSSESS HANDYMAN SKILLS.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Relations & Community Management
Act as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Enforce community rules, policies, and lease agreements fairly and consistently.
Resolve tenant conflicts and mediate disputes to maintain a peaceful living environment.
Foster a sense of community by organizing resident communication, such as newsletters or events.
Leasing & Marketing
Assist in marketing available units and conduct property tours
Complete Move-In/Move-Out Walk Throughs
Maintenance & Property Upkeep
Perform regular, proactive property inspections (grounds, amenities, vacant units) to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appeal.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to schedule repairs and renovations.
Handle minor repairs, maintenance tasks and manage emergency and/or after-hours issues.
Administrative Duties
Post notices when necessary
Print, scan and email documents
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Property management experience, with multi-unit experience preferred.
Location: Must reside on-site.
Skills: Strong computer skills; uploading and downloading documents and working online. Smart phone usage, able to scan, take pedicure and navigate through applications
Attributes: Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Physical: Ability to walk the property, climb stairs, and perform minor maintenance/cleaning duties and the ability to lift 40-50lbs.
