Strong organizational skills. Motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment. Confidence in showing and leasing apartments, answering the telephone, and greeting prospective tenants in the leasing office. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, and the ability to learn and retain knowledge of operating the Property Management Software (Yardi) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Leasing Consultant Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective residents and maintain a positive attitude. Provide a professional and engaging experience for prospects while touring the apartment homes and community. Maintain consistent resident retention with a focus on the resolution of resident conflicts and problems. Develop a strong rapport with residents and be able to enforce community rules and regulations, as necessary. Process applications and lease renewals and complete all related paperwork accurately and correctly. Proactively manage sales, outreach, and lead generation. Work with the maintenance department to ensure apartment turnovers are completed on time. Recognize opportunities for problem resolution and establishing good customer relations, Recognize trends in customer issues and advise management.
