3T Services, Inc. is a nationwide industrial mechanical contractor centrally based in Sioux City, IA.
3T Services, Inc. takes an innovative solution-based approach to meet our customers’ needs. We specialize in the installation of hydraulic systems, steam and mechanical process piping, sanitary and compression piping systems. Our projects vary from design/build, new construction, facility renovations, system upgrades, to replacement or repair of existing piping systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Ability to read and understand blueprints and isometric drawings
§ Ability to TIG weld stainless piping (GTAW)
§ Ability to efficiently operate various hand and power tools
§ Ability to take directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
§ Ability to be self-motivated, work independently or as part of a team
§ Ability to work at elevations, and weld in position
§ Ability to help and assist others when needed
Required minimum qualifications:
§ Minimum of 2 years’ experience pipe welding (industrial setting preferred)
§ Tig welding stainless steel pipe (socket weld, butt weld and sanitary)
§ Must be able to pass a weld test (6G test - 2” SS sch80 (open root))
§ Pipe fitting experience beneficial
§ Valid drivers’ license (good record preferred)
§ Ability to travel frequently, work overtime and weekends
§ Ability to pass drug test and physical capacity profile
§ Preferred to live in the Sioux City area but it is not required to live in the Sioux City area but would be required to get to the jobsite on the required days scheduled.

§ 12 hr. shifts (typical)
§ Per diem of $55 per day
§ Paid hotels (single occupancy)
§ Paid travel time (in company vehicle)
§ Overtime pay for weekend work and 40+hrs
§ Trips ranging from 4-10 days on typical projects

This position is full-time, year round work.
