Kikka sushi is looking for energetic, hardworking, dependable, prep cook / food prep / Team Member that will provide great customer service in our location in the Whole Foods Market located at: 150 E McKinley Ave Sunnyvale, CA 94086. We have a full time only job. Working 11:30 am to 8:30 pm, (includes an hour unpaid meal break), Sunday – Thursday. The prep cook / food prep / Team member This position will do prep work, cook and prepare other Asian foods and maintain a clean and neat environment all while providing great customer service in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment. Making sushi will be taught when there is time to make sushi per customer’s request when working alone after 3pm. To thrive in this job you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, have a flexible morning and evening availability, be willing to work hard (this isn’t an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to get comfortable with the job), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few days or weeks) and be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English. Pay : $19.50 per hour. Per SB1182: up to $21.00 per hour, depending on years of sushi making working experience. No sushi making work experience, $19.50, not negotiable.
