Confidential – Executive Assistant (Contract)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Duration: 90 Days (Potential for Contract-to-Hire)

Overview

A growing, private equity-backed organization is seeking a Contract Executive Assistant to provide immediate support to senior leadership during a transition period. This role is highly execution-focused and will play a critical part in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and can step in with minimal ramp-up time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage executive calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination
• Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for leadership
• Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials (including slide decks)
• Support general administrative functions across the leadership team
• Assist with communication and coordination across internal teams and external partners
• Track action items and ensure timely follow-up on key initiatives
• Provide ad hoc administrative and operational support as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant or high-level administrative role
• Experience supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience creating presentations and reports
• Ability to work independently and operate with a high sense of urgency

Preferred Experience

• Experience in private equity-backed, startup, or high-growth environments
• Exposure to operations, construction, or service-based industries
• Familiarity with tools like Canva or similar design platforms

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
• Standard business hours (flexibility between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
