Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Electro Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As an Electro Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the assembly and testing of electro-mechanical products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electro Mechanical Assembler
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Pay Range: $21- $22 per hour
Shift: Monday- Friday from 6 am - 2:30pm (with OT required after training is completed 5am- 3:30pm and Saturdays 5am- 10am)
What's the Job?
Assemble electro-mechanical products using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, and wrenches.
Read and interpret production assembly drawings, diagrams, BOMs, and routing notes to ensure accurate assembly.
Perform basic soldering functions on PCBs, subassemblies, and electronic components.
Follow verbal instructions from the Assembly Lead and Production Manager to meet production goals.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring foreign objects are not mixed with conforming parts.
What's Needed?
2+ years of electro-mechanical assembly and soldering experience (not small parts assembly)
Ability to assemble complex parts and fabricate wire assemblies using wire harness boards.
Experience with using appropriate materials such as Penetrox, Thermal Compound, Loctite, and RTV silicon.
Knowledge of reading production drawings, diagrams, and BOMs.
Capable of making adjustments to machinery based on dimensional non-conformity.
Strong organizational skills to maintain an organized work station.
