The primary purpose of this job position is to perform Business Office Manager duties in an efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by the VP of Operations.
Prepare monthly resident billing for Fellowship Square, The Oasis at Fellowship Square.
The monthly billing includes private pay, medical and long term care insurances and Arizona Long Term Care (Medicaid).
Review Accounts Receivable ledger for late payments and provide appropriate follow up to collect on the account.
Audit resident move-in paperwork and monthly census to ensure accuracy of billing information.
Receive and assist residents with billing questions, concerns or issues as necessary.
Receive inquiries from insurers and provide required paperwork to ensure payment of billings.
Maintain discharged resident files.
Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm attitude when visiting with staff, residents and visitors.
Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary company information and pertinent resident information to assure resident rights are protected.
Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when operating office equipment.
Assure that work/assignment areas are neat, clean, and office equipment is covered before leaving such areas on breaks, end of workday.
Assist with general duties including copying, typing, filing, scanning, emailing and labeling and other misc. office duties.
Promote the Christian Care entities to all in a positive manner.
Ability to self-direct work.
Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
Ability to deal tactfully with staff personnel, residents, visitors and the general public.
Ability to communicate with and relate well to elder population.
Minimum of HS Diploma or GED. Minimum of 4 years experience in accounts receivable with 1 year experience in Arizona Long Term Care billing (ALTCS) or Medicaid. Must have experience in Microsoft Office products. Must have exeperience in Yardi.
