Job Title Assistant/Associate Professor - Educational Leadership

Essential Functions The Educational Leadership Department (EDL) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or tenured associate professor of educational leadership to start August 2026. We seek candidates passionate about high quality scholarship, research, teaching, and service in educational leadership.
The Department of Educational Leadership offers masters, specialist, and doctoral programs that also lead to certification in school leadership, including principal, special education supervisor, and superintendent.
Duties include teaching courses; active engagement in scholarly research activities leading to publication; advising graduate students; supervising fieldwork and internship experiences; collaborating with community and school district partners; service activities at the program, department, college, university, and professional levels; and generating external funding.

Additional Duties Required Qualifications An earned doctorate in Educational Leadership or closely related field and successful employment as educational administrator.
Successful candidate must have content and working knowledge of the Professional Standards of Educational Leaders (PSELs) and evidence of ability to engage in professional service.
Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience at multiple levels of educational leadership, proven ability to conduct meaningful educational research, and evidence of educational leadership network.
